FAQs

Information about our products

What are they made of?

We take a lot of care when it comes to food allergens and food intolerances, and we strife to use as little as common allergens as possible. Please check for all allergens HERE.

If in any doubt, please reach out. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have regarding our ingredients.

How long will they last?

Our products have a shelf life of 7/10 days after shipping.

Everything, except the carrots, can be frozen.

Please do not consume the product if you have kept it for longer than 2 months in your freezer.

Our mozzarella will retain the same flavour, but consistency can have a slight variation, as it’s made with loads of water. Our suggestion is to use the frozen mozzarella as a cooking ingredient, as it will melt wonderfully.

The chickpea based hard cheeses will have no trouble at all. But please remember to take them out and put them in the fridge at least 24 hours before, if you want to grate them.

The ‘vduja has no trouble whatsoever. Freezes well, doesn’t require any “setting” time, can be used immediately.

How are our products made?

We are a small vegan handmade business. Everything we do comes after thorough research, extensive testing, and is made with love.

We strive to make each step as responsible as possible.

This means we look to ethically source our ingredients, try to make every product as enjoyable by as many people as we can.

Each product is handmade in batches. And while we always follow a recipe, each batch can have slight variations. This does not affect the overall care, attention, and love, we put in everything we do.

What are our packagings made of?

Our hard cheeses come in bioplastic tubs.

The bioplastic tubs are made of food-safe Bio50+ material. The Biobased raw material is partly based on ethanol that comes from residual waste from sugar cane production.

By using bioplastic tubs you make a positive contribution to CO2 reduction and a greatly increased circularity (both post-life and pre-life). For more information click here

Our vacuum pouches are completely compostable. Made from rice, potatoes, corn & a fossil fuel copolymer. For more information click here

Please check with your local authority on how to properly dispose of these packagings, as it may vary.
